Description from the seller
This lot consists of two bottles of the wine from Domaine du Vicomte Liger-Belair Vosne-Romanée Clos du Château 2017.
Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair is a family-run winery located in Vosne-Romanée, in the heart of the Côte de Nuits, led by Count Louis-Michel Liger-Belair. Established in its current form in 2000, it is part of the Liger-Belair family’s history in Vosne, which dates back to the early 19th century.
The estate currently cultivates 10.5 hectares of vineyards spread across the villages of Vosne-Romanée, Nuits-Saint-Georges and Flagey-Échezeaux. This wine, in particular, belongs to the renowned village of Vosne-Romanée, and this cuvée comes from the Clos du Château vineyard, a monopole owned by the estate.
The 2017 vintage still shows freshness and energy. It is a medium-bodied wine, aged in oak, with an alcohol content of 13%. It reflects the identity of this great, enclosed plot situated within the Vosne-Romanée vineyard.
The bottles are in perfect condition, having always been kept in wine cellars at a controlled temperature between 16 and 18 °C, with 85% humidity, and protected from light.
Now it is ready to drink and enjoy, but it still has great aging potential.
