Taspinar - Rug - 175 cm - 107 cm

Taspinar, an old piece, probably from the 1940s or 1950s, 175 x 107 cm. A rug of great character, with a well-defined design and a structured division: a central field with four corner motifs and a lot of free space in the background. Traditional rug with a central medallion surrounded by numerous motifs. The area between the medallion and the corners draws the eye alternately to the border and to the field, but the red background ultimately attracts attention to the medallion. The background, ranging from blue-gray to violet, is particularly beautiful, in strong contrast with the red. Very appealing also is the main border, with an interesting green ground and motifs that use white tones. 100% wool, in good condition as visible in the photos. No insect damage, free of smoke or animal odors. Clean.
