About the work
In the work “Veins of the Universe: The Silent Passage,” contemporary artist Liana explores the psychological boundary between human consciousness and the cosmic rhythm.
At the center of the composition, a visually powerful, richly textured boat drifts on calm waters, symbolizing the inner, existential journey of the human soul — at the threshold between the conscious and the unconscious. The silhouettes of the trees surrounding the boat, the grounding in memory and roots, are woven with fine white lines — the symbolic “veins of the universe” that connect all living beings and matter.
Through the synthesis of multilayered oil textures and expressive brushstrokes, the artist creates a meditative atmosphere. She invites the viewer to pause, reflect, and follow the invisible threads that connect one’s inner landscape with the infinite cosmos.
