Condition Report
This Sandoz Automatic is presented in Grade B vintage condition, showing signs of age and previous use consistent with its period. The stainless steel case shows scratches, small marks and surface wear. The polished bezel and case edges display normal signs of use, while the stainless steel case back also presents scratches and age-related marks.

The grey sunburst dial remains attractive overall and retains its distinctive radial finish. Light marks and natural ageing are visible under close inspection. The applied indexes, hands and framed date aperture remain well defined.
The acrylic crystal shows signs of normal use.
The generic black leather strap shows signs of wear and is suitable for a wrist of approximately 19–20 cm.
The case back is engraved with reference 1797Y-99-2 and carries the inscriptions All Stainless Steel, Swiss Made, Waterproof, Antimagnetic, Incabloc and Automatic.
The watch has not been tested for water resistance. Despite the historical “Waterproof” inscription on the case back, water resistance is not guaranteed.
