TEEJO - ART TILES – ART NOUVEAU - FLOWER - Sublimation on glossy ceramic tile with a plastic easel

This work is part of the Teejo Art Tiles series, a collection of artistic tiles blending digital creation and artisanal craftsmanship.

Each visual is the result of research and composition work carried out with the help of professional graphic tools, notably Photoshop and various digital processes, allowing the creation of original visual universes inspired by Art Nouveau, pop culture, the history of art, surrealism, or Japanese aesthetics.

The image is then manually transferred onto a ceramic tile by sublimation, using a hot press. This artisanal process embeds pigments directly into the substrate.

Because this process is performed piece by piece, slight rendering variations may occur (color density, nuances, micro-differences related to pressure and heat).
Each tile is made individually and not mass-produced, which gives each piece a unique character.

To facilitate displaying the piece, a matching easel/stand is included, allowing the tile to be shown on a shelf, desk, or bookcase.

Artist’s journey

Under the pseudonym Teejo, the artist has for several years developed work focusing on the dialogue between the history of art and contemporary creation.
