Extase is a 50 × 50 cm open-edition silkscreen by French street artist Jace (born 1973), produced in 2026, signed and in mint condition.
Description from the seller
Original screen print by Jace, a French street artist born in 1973 in Le Havre, now based in Saint-Denis de la Réunion. Entitled «Extase», this 2026 work is produced in open edition in a square format of 50 × 50 cm.
Self-taught, Jace began painting in the street in 1989 before creating in 1992 the Gouzou — an orange character with no face, no hands or feet, an archetype of a universal and mischievous humanity. In more than three decades, his Gouzou has adorned the walls of more than thirty countries on four continents, becoming one of the most identifiable figures in world street art. Jace is represented by Galerie Mathgoth (Paris 13e), a long-time partner with whom he maintains a long-standing collaboration.
Serigraphy is a hand-printing art technique, produced by successive passes of ink through stretched screens. Each print constitutes a work in its own right, produced with the same care as a numbered edition.
