Description from the seller
Pelzhaus Büchele Mindelheim – Vintage brown genuine fur coat – 103 cm
Important vintage coat in authentic fur from Pelzhaus Büchele of Mindelheim, Germany, an elegant example of Central European furrier tradition.
A garment with notable presence, characterized by a deep brown fur that is exceptionally bright, with shades that vary noticeably with the light, ranging from intense chocolate to chestnut and mahogany tones.
The aesthetic quality of the piece emerges especially in close-up photographs: the mantle appears dense, compact, and extraordinarily shiny, with countless guard hairs reflecting the light and creating the characteristic glossy surface typical of high-quality natural furs.
The construction is rich and substantial. The various fur sections are carefully matched to create a wide and harmonious silhouette, while the length of over a meter gives the coat a presence decisively greater than the more common short fur jackets.
Of particular note is the large collar with a fur reverse, fully fur, broad, soft, and generously proportioned. The different direction of the pile emphasizes its volume and elegantly frames the upper part of the garment.
The sleeves are wide and entirely made in fur, with a construction consistent with the coat’s substantial character.
The brown tone is particularly sophisticated: not flat or uniform, but presents natural variations of chestnut, cocoa, and deep brown, made even more evident by the strong shine of the fur.
The interior is finished with an elegant olive-dark-green lining, complemented by decorative piping. Inside is preserved the original label:
PELZHAUS BÜCHELE – MINDELHEIM
an important detail documenting the garment’s origin from a specialized German furrier.
Manually measured with the garment laid flat:
* Underarm to underarm: about 53–55 cm
* Total length: about 101–103 cm
Please refer to the actual measurements to accurately assess fit.
The garment presents as visually well preserved, with fur that looks full, uniform, and particularly bright. Close-up photographs allow careful observation of fur quality, craftsmanship, and finishes and are an integral part of the description.
An important vintage fur coat from a German furrier, elegant and timeless, especially notable for its generous length, the richness of construction, and above all for the extraordinary depth and luster of the brown fur.
A piece intended for those seeking authentic European vintage fur, with identifiable provenance and an aesthetic presence that is hard to replicate in contemporary production.
