Very rare original edition of this very important work by the historian Gaetano Girolamo Maccà (1740-1824) in which he sought to demonstrate that originally the Vicentine territory was much broader than previously thought. Cf. Rumor, p. 233, 5.
Gaetano Girolamo Maccà, Dell'estensione antica del territorio vicentino. Dissertation in which it is shown that the city of Vicenza in antiquity had a territory far larger than at present, and it was one of the most illustrious cities of these surroundings, Vicenza, Stamperia Turra, 1793.

A genuine copy still in the rough with maps, in overall good condition, with some stains and damp spots. Usual signs of use and time. Small worm galleries only on the frontispiece.
Contemporary rustic hardcover binding, well preserved. White endpapers.
