Description from the seller

Vintage black fur coat, Persianer/Karakul style – with a wavy (curly) handwork – 84 cm

Elegant vintage black fur coat, characterized by a spectacular surface of tight, glossy curls and an extremely rich workmanship that creates an elegant three-dimensional pattern across the entire garment.

The main protagonist is the mantle: an extremely dense succession of curls, waves, and small concentric motifs, changing orientation in different sections and reacting to light to create continuous reflections on the black.

Macro photography highlights this feature particularly well: the surface does not appear simply black and uniform, but shows an incredible variety of glossy reliefs and depth, with areas more tightly packed alternating with wider curls. A typical effect of the great tradition of vintage fur.

The construction of the coat further enhances the material. The different sections are joined following different orientations, creating on the front a nearly geometric composition and making each panel visually recognizable.

Very elegant is the wide, soft collar, entirely made from the same fur, which adds volume around the upper part of the garment without appearing excessive.

The silhouette is slightly flared, with a length of about 82–84 cm, a particularly versatile proportion that preserves the presence of an authentic fur coat without reaching the dimensions of maxi models.

The sleeves are wide and continue the same workmanship and end with generous edges. Practical side pockets are also present.

The back is particularly clean and elegant: the large surface allows the complex arrangement of the different fur sections and the continuity of the curly pattern to be appreciated.

The interior is fully finished with a coordinated black lining, enhanced by a discreet tone-on-tone pattern and a decorative edge along the inner perimeter.

Measurements are taken manually with the garment laid flat:

* Underarm–underarm: about 56–58 cm
* Total length: about 82–84 cm

To properly assess fit, please refer mainly to the actual measurements.

The garment presents in visually excellent overall condition, with a rich, uniform surface that is still very glossy. The high-definition photographs accurately show the mantle structure, finishes, and interior and are an integral part of the description.

An elegant example of vintage black fur, particularly interesting for the extraordinary three-dimensional texture, the luster of the mantle, and the sophisticated workmanship of the different sections. A substantial yet highly wearable piece, capable of combining the character of vintage fur with a black aesthetic that remains very current.
