Fortunato Depero - Bitter Campari - 1970s

An absolute icon of Italian Futurism and of the history of advertising design. This extraordinary poster, a 1970s reissue, reproduces one of the most famous and revolutionary graphics born from the artistic partnership between the Futurist master Fortunato Depero and the Davide Campari brand. The work perfectly embodies the manifesto of the 'Casa d'Arte Depero' in Rovereto: a powerful geometric synthesis in which an iconic, stylized and angular 'mechanical little man' savors an aperitif at a small table. The warm, saturated colors (red, orange, yellow) and blue accents contrast dramatically against a deep black background, highlighting the scene's dynamism and the bold typographic lettering typical of the avant-gardes of the 1920s and 1930s. In the bottom left, the famous signature of the artist 'F. Depero Rovereto' is impressed into the graphic.
