Description from the seller
Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial Rosé Millésimé 1988 – Champagne AOC – 75 cl
A rarity for collectors and enthusiasts: a Rosé Millésimé from Moët & Chandon, born in one of the most appreciated vintages of Champagne. 38-year-old bottle, with the gold capsule stamped "MOËT 1988" and the red seal of the Purveyors of Champagne with Royal Warrant, symbolizing the historic link between the Maison and the British Crown.
• Filling level: Base of the neck. The level is just below the end of the gold capsule.
• Label conditions: Label slightly worn. Front label and X collar readable and intact, with normal signs of aging: edges slightly lifted and small abrasions. No writing or significant tearing.
• Capsule conditions: Excellent. Gold capsule intact, with no corrosion, cuts, or cracks, with a non-protruding cork.
• Dimensions: 75 cl (standard bottle).
• Bottler: Bottled in cellar, Moët & Chandon, Épernay, France.
• History: Founded in 1743, Moët & Chandon is one of the most famous Maisons in Épernay. The vintage of 1988 is remembered in Champagne for its lively acidity and excellent aging potential. Private collection bottle, stored in the dark, at a constant temperature and horizontally.
• To drink or to keep: To be enjoyed in the coming years if you seek the expression of a mature Rosé. After almost 40 years, evolved notes are expected (ripe red fruit, spices, undergrowth) and a more discreet perlage. Also excellent as a collectible piece.
• Shipping: Reinforced protective packaging, insured and tracked shipment with courier.
