Photographic Artist – Contemporary Image Creator
A multidisciplinary photographer, author and musician, David Law develops work focused on gaze, presence and the perception of the image in urban space. He first made a name for himself with a series devoted to storefront models, integrated into the city through a subtle play of reflections and superimpositions. This exploration of looking and presence gave birth to an art book published in 2021. Later, intrigued by the singular aesthetics of collectible dolls and Japanese figurines, he extends this reflection by staging them in the streets of Paris and other European capitals. Through framing, light and composition, these inanimate subjects acquire a troubling, almost living presence, questioning our relation to illusion and projection.
New Series – Echo Waves / Echo Visions - A new reading of cultural icons
The Echo Waves / Echo Visions series offers a contemporary rereading of cultural icons through an immersive and vibrant pop art aesthetic. Each work rests on a mosaic construction made up of thousands of micro-graphic compositions. From a distance, the image reveals a recognizable figure, while up close it unveils a richness of visual details. Each fragment acts as a “wave,” evoking the artistic universe of the subject depicted. The creation process is long and demanding, requiring precision and mastery of graphic tools. A thorough study is carried out on colors, light and the overall harmony of the image. Everything is created in an original and independent manner.
Edition & Production
Each work is offered in a limited edition of 8 copies numbered + 4 artist proofs (A.P.), signed by the artist and accompanied by an authenticity certificate. The prints are produced on aluminum with an integrated back-mounted system. Printed on luminous white vinyl, mounted between two aluminum panels, with a flexible UV- and moisture-resistant lamination, ensuring excellent durability, long-term stability of colors and a modern, contemporary rendering.

Since 2014, David Law participates in around twenty contemporary art fairs per year in France and Europe. He is also the dedicated photographer and videographer for several organizers of contemporary art fairs. Parallel to his visual activity, he pursues authorial work and music, including 3 novels, a collection of short stories, a graphic novel, a photo book and 5 self-produced CDs. A singer-guitarist, he currently performs with the band FRENZY.
