LORIN - Lost morning

Original painting by LORIN, part of a continuing exploration of the human figure emerging from tactile surfaces and color. Lorin's research focuses on the female figure as an emotional and symbolic space, where presence, identity, and perception meet.

- Lost Morning stems from the sensation of something we have all experienced, sooner or later: those mornings that seem to dissolve without leaving a clear boundary between sleep, thoughts, and reality. In psychology, the early hours of the day are considered the moment when the mind is most prone to introspection, allowing memories and emotions to emerge naturally before being absorbed by the rhythm of everyday life.
The painting takes shape precisely from this suspended atmosphere. It does not tell a precise story, but that silence in which time seems to slow down and the external world remains distant. The figure appears immersed in her own thoughts, as if for a moment only her inner dimension exists.
