The book, attributed to the Norman nobleman Henry de Ferrières, was created for Philip the Good, Duke of Burgundy, and its miniatures are by Girart de Roussillon and his workshop. And printed in double column, in color, with numerous initials and punctuation marks in bright gold on a blue and red background, and its numerous and splendid color miniatures, framed in gold leaf, stand out for showing us hunting scenes with dogs and birds, illustrating certain ways of hunting.
Spanish edition of the Codices Notabiles series is composed of 340 numbered copies (no. 35).
