GELATO BLOOMS

An explosion of flowers, color, and light.

Gelato Blooms arises from the meeting of the freshness of Mediterranean colors and the expressive force of gestural painting. A large bouquet of roses in pink, coral, peach, cream, and red emerges from an intense turquoise background, creating an immediate and vibrant color contrast.

The title Gelato Blooms deliberately evokes the color universe of Italian gelato: soft, decadent, and luminous tones reminiscent of pistachio, strawberry, peach, raspberry, and cream. A seemingly sweet palette that, through the gesture of painting, gains energy and a contemporary character.

It is a work about the joy of color.

L’ARTISTA

Azzurra Lo Bello is an Italian contemporary artist active between figurative painting and pop-geometric language.

After studying at the Academy of Fine Arts of Catania, where she deepens Painting and Graphic Design, she develops a personal research characterized by a strong focus on color, composition, and visual synthesis.

Her production traverses different languages, from contemporary figuration to gestural painting, up to pop and geometric works. Color represents one of the central elements of her artistic research: through contrasts, blocks, and overlays, she creates images immediately recognizable and endowed with strong visual energy.

In the course of her activity she has exhibited and participated in art exhibitions, awards, and fairs in Italy.

Her works are destined for both private collectors and contemporary environments, where painting becomes the central element of the space.

Her artistic influences include Andy Warhol, Jeff Koons, Magritte, Rauschenberg, Mondrian, Matisse, Dalí, Picasso, Miró, Banksy, Roy Lichtenstein, Keith Haring, Basquiat, Dillon Boy, Mr. Brainwash, Falcó and other protagonists of modern and contemporary art.
