Mara. J XL - Jade Thicket

The background darkens downward into a deep green, where slender stalks of ochre and violet rise like lines of light. From there the vegetation thickens and climbs, leaf after leaf, until it saturates the entire surface in a bright, vibrant green, barely veiled with white. Small touches of coral and yellow glow among the footprints and keep the cold dominance in motion. The matter is dense, built up from short strokes that allow the texture of the canvas to surface beneath. It is an image of silent, fresh, luminous growth, like vegetation caught in the height of the season.
