VOLTA, an original 2026 acrylic painting titled "Green Silence", hand-signed by the artist, depicting nature in green, violet, pink and yellow tones, image 90 × 70 cm with the canvas at 100 × 80 cm, unframed and shipped rolled in a cardboard tube, authenticity certificate available digitally on request, sold directly by the artist.
Description from the seller
There is no sky, there is no horizon: only green, laid layer upon layer until it becomes a space you can enter. The slim trunks, of a reddish-brown, rise straight and vanish among the leaves, built with small touches that range from deep green to lighter, cooler tones. Deeper down the undergrowth ignites with tiny points, blue, violet, pink, pale yellow, scattered like sparks in the shade. The foreground grass, traced with quick, vertical marks, closes the scene and at the same time opens it to the viewer. It is a forest that is not described but listened to, where the light arrives in fragments and time seems to slow down.

Volta’s search moves in the wake of a return—not nostalgic, but active. The great tradition of European painting is the starting point: the period each work evokes, from time to time. But the gesture with which this heritage is traversed is unequivocally contemporary. Color does not illustrate, it breathes. The brushstroke does not describe, it vibrates. What remains of the past is the deep structure—a certain idea of body, of space, of light—while the surface is wholly present, wholly alive. Volta does not quote, it restitutes: his compositions seem to emerge from a shared cultural memory, brought to light with different eyes.
