Dora Horovitz K.G. - Der erste Fruehlingstag

This is a beautiful photograph of the well-known Austrian artist Dora Horovitz (1897-1978), active in her hometown Vienna from 1925 to about 1960, first alone and then with her colleague and partner Trude Geiringer.
This beautiful image depicts the famous Austrian actor Fritz Delius, in 1936, in the role of the portrait painter Paul Francis
in the theatrical comedy Der erste Frühlingstag (The First Day of Spring) by Dodie Smith.
This very handsome portrait is dry-stamped by the artist, with handwritten notes on the back, surely from the period...
Format 135x84mm, in excellent condition.
