Pietro Goriziano - Primavera in Puglia

In Apulia, spring appears in the countryside, studded with white farmhouses, with the pink of almond trees in bloom and the evergreen, centuries-old olive trees.

I was born and live in Apulia. I have been retired for a few years, and having time at my disposal I wanted to resume a passion, indeed a natural vocation for painting. Since I was a child, drawings and colors have been an irresistible attraction for me. As a teenager, however, I was discouraged by parents and teachers from attending a school that matched this natural inclination. I continued to cultivate it as a self-taught artist, filling the rooms of my house with many of my paintings. Now, taking advantage of the means offered by modern technology, I would also like to have the satisfaction of letting others know about my efforts to stage on canvas what I feel inside me as aesthetic inspiration."
