MiLo, BLOOM COUTURE - XXL, an original acrylic painting in an abstract style (2026), 150 cm high by 125 cm wide, hand signed, excellent condition, Netherlands, sold direct from the artist.
Description from the seller
MiLo (1976), Netherlands
“Bloom Couture”
An expressive floral composition in which elongated blooms rise across a softly worked background. Muted green and blue-grey tones meet accents of burgundy, blush pink, warm earthy colour and creamy white, creating a balance between fresh colour and weathered texture.
Developed from an earlier grayscale composition, the painting has been reworked with thick strands of acrylic paint. These raised lines cross and intertwine over the flower heads and stems, creating an almost woven surface. Beneath them, scratched and etched marks remain visible, adding depth and revealing traces of the painting’s development.
The generous open spaces around the flowers give the composition room to breathe. Seen in person, the colours and tactile details come together with a softer, more harmonious presence than a small photograph can convey. The result is a contemporary floral painting with an elegant palette, spontaneous movement and a distinctive physical texture.
