French school (XX) - Paesaggio lacustre con coppia di cani da caccia

Oil painting on canvas depicting a lake landscape with a copy of English setter hunting dogs. A work of the French school probably created between the 1920s and 1930s of the twentieth century. An academically styled rendering with a pleasant landscape portrayal and natural chromatics. In the lower right part a monogram with the letters AP is marked in red. The painting was purchased in the 1990s at an antique shop in Montpellier, France.
