This sculpture is a true masterpiece, initially it is printed in PLA on the 3D printer and then it is coated with resin, hand-painted with the expressive impasto technique, and finished with glossy varnish. (Between layers of paint and resin there are several days of curing)

Inspired by the iconic figure of Super Mario and titled Mario’s Black & Red, this sculpture reinterprets a classic symbol of pop culture as a luxury contemporary art piece.
