Old Multi-purpose Copper Bucket/Vessel Riveted – 19th Century.
It has an absolutely fantastic patina.
Rare and authentic cylindrical container with a conical shape in molded copper, with a raised-rim base. A piece of entirely artisanal and traditional manufacture, evidenced by the mechanical joining by seam/riveting visible and by the subtle forming of a pouring spout on the upper edge.
The exterior and interior display an exceptional, dense natural patina of time oxidation (blue-green verdigris) in blue-green tones, blended with iron and mineral deposits that give the piece a high rustic and decorative character.
