Refined pair of Chinese square porcelain vases finely decorated with the Qianjiang Cai technique
The square shape features on each side decorative panels with figurative scenes painted by hand in delicate pastel tones: sages, literati and children immersed in natural landscapes, rendered with extraordinary expressiveness and literary taste (Wenren).
