A beautiful mid-century French copper cachepot (planter/jardinière) featuring a traditional dual-texture design. The lower half showcases a stunning hand-hammered, dimpled honeycomb finish, while the upper rim is styled with clean, horizontal ribbed lines.
This piece was masterfully crafted in Villedieu-les-Poêles, Normandy—a historic French town celebrated since the Middle Ages for its world-class copper craftsmanship. The bottom bears the authentic stamped maker's mark: "MARQUE DÉPOSÉE - GARANTI VILLEDIEU - FRANCE" encircling a traditional knight's helmet emblem, alongside the stamped size number "3".
