Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Antique Bohemian garnet brooch in rose gold 10 Kt, featuring 46 round garnets totaling 25.0 ct, about 3.3 cm wide, with a back needle and safety clasp, Czech origin, in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
The ancient Bohemian garnet brooch is executed in a baroque gold alloy of approximately 11 karats (458 gold), as determined by professional examination by a master goldsmith; only the pin is made of gilded iron.
(Due to the exact karat specification not being possible for object details, I chose the lower grade of 10 karats, which is not correct—the correct specification of 11 karats is stated in my text.)
The brooch has a roundish form and features a four-tier construction. Round and teardrop-shaped faceted antique table-cut garnets are set in very beautiful, blood-red Bohemian quality. All 46 garnets are held by tiny prong settings to best showcase the gorgeous color of the garnets.
On the back of the brooch there is a long pin with a safety clasp.
Size of the brooch: ~3.3 cm in diameter
Ancient Bohemian goldsmith work from the period around 1830/40 in very nice, well-preserved condition; in the 11-karat rose gold version, this is very rare.
Shipping is conducted in a new jewelry case / jewelry pouch.
The pictured jewelry cases, stands, displays, or other photographic aids are the property of the photographer and are not part of the offer.
The color may vary slightly depending on lighting, camera settings, or monitor display.
Shipping as insured parcel.
NOTE: The customs and import duties of the respective countries, as well as possible island-delivery charges (currently 50 EUR), are the buyer’s responsibility.
We explicitly point out that, following the revision of the right of withdrawal by EU legislation, the costs of return shipping are borne by the buyer, regardless of any value threshold or the reason for return.
I have no influence on the processing times of the shipping companies in the respective EU countries.
If you have questions about shipping duration, please contact your national post office and be a little patient if necessary.
Due to unresolved customs and tariff regulations, at the moment shipping to the USA is not possible.
Since this is a private sale, I exclude any liability for material defects.
