Unisex vintage silver bracelet in 835 fineness by Dutch goldsmith Menno Meijer, featuring a butterfly motif, wide irregular band with a hinged top and a hook clasp, inner circumference about 7.5 x 5.8 cm.
Description from the seller
A Special Vintage Silver Bracelet by the Dutch Goldsmith Menno Meijer.
The bracelet features a clean and fairly minimalist design, with an open-worked central section at the top containing three butterflies in different sizes.
The bracelet consists of a wide, lightly irregularly finished silver band with a hinged upper part. The clasp is a simple hook closure and functions well.
Menno Meijer was a Dutch goldsmith and designer from a family of gold- and silversmiths. He studied, among other places, in Schoonhoven and Pforzheim and became known for his quirky, modernist jewelry designs. He passed away in 2022.
The bracelet is stamped with FM2, the master mark of Menno Meijer, and the Dutch sword mark for 835 silver.
The bracelet has a relatively generous size and is in excellent vintage condition. There are hardly any signs of wear visible and the piece appears little worn.
