Victorian-style necklace in gold‑doublé with rubies, 41 cm long and weighing 2.8 g, featuring 10 main gemstones totalling 0.125 ct, no laboratory report, made in Austria around 1860–1880, in excellent barely worn condition.
Description from the seller
The elegant, dainty neck collar is made of foam gold/gold doublet with very well-preserved yellow gold gilding. This elegant handcraft originated around 1860/80 in the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy and is in excellent condition.
The collar features a segmented centerpiece with a finely fan-shaped pendant in a blossom form. This flower blossom is set with 5 very small, round, faceted genuine rubies. The two hearts at the central piece rise up, each adorned with faceted rubies.
The centerpiece is held by an anchor chain with a spring ring clasp in gold doublet.
Length of the collar: 41 cm, centerpiece about 3.7 cm x 2.5 cm
A splendid Negligee-style collar from the period around 1860/80 in well-kept condition.
Shipping is done in a new jewelry case / jewelry pouch.
Illustrated jewelry cases, stands, displays, or other photographic aids are the property of the photographer and are not part of the offer.
