Evert Geradts - Original page - Donald Duck, Uncle Scrooge - De Hittegolf - 1984

Very rare page by Evert Geradts.
Geradts is very active for the Donald Duck magazine, but mainly as a writer.
This story “De Hittegolf” is one of 3 stories he wrote and illustrated.
Geradts also illustrated Underground comics (for Tante Leny Presenteert) as Jan Zeiloor and the popular comic “De AlsJeMaarBekendBand”.
Hand-inked comic board from the Disney / Donald Duck series. Originally published at least in Donald Duck Weekblad No. 28, July 13, 1984, ISSN 0165-1293. Author: Evert Geradts Title of story: “De Hittegolf” Board number: p. 8 Production code: H/8315 Full-page original featuring Donald, nephews, and Scrooge McDuck. The board contains the original ink drawing, hand-lettered texts in Dutch, and editorial marks in the margins. The photos also show a printed color counterpart of the page — not for sale, used solely to show the final publication. Condition very good for an original production board: natural signs of age and editorial work in the margins, with no significant damage to the drawing itself. I am selling exactly the board from the photos. It is a unique piece — there is only one original of this page. Perfect for a comics collector, a fan of Donald and Disney original art.
