MARTE's work is characterized by a balanced palette and soft brushstrokes complemented by subtle glazes. They are compositions with a meditative spirit, and their scenes aim to convey an idea linked to a strong experience. Therefore, the construction of the pictorial setting is essential to evoke that dreamlike vision. His works may include many themes but follow a single conceptual thread that is clearly visible in all his paintings.

The influences regarding artistic trends and currents are varied, ranging from classic and modern art to contemporary art, drawing primarily on abstract art, as well as conceptual art, and also impressionism, expressionism, surrealism, cubism, and landscape painting or classic scenery, with some touches of romanticism and realism. On the other hand, multiple artists have influenced the shaping of his work, such as Pablo Picasso, Mark Rothko, M. Spiewak, Salvador Dalí, Dam Domido, Joan Miró, Ivanka Matiss, Henri Matisse, Some more current than others but always learning from the mastery and sensitivity of other artists, among whom there may also be: V. Kandinsky, Renoir, N. Correa, Wilfredo Lam, La Nord, Max Ernest, Ester Reut, P. Gaugin, Giogia, Sven Pels, A. Warhol, Juan Gris, Volha, Vladau, Morisch, Barnett Newman, Rhul, Rodríguez, Willem de Kooning, etc. “No canvas is painted in solitude; we are the echo of others’ brushes” S. Dalí.
