Posthumous Works of Pietro Giannone, jurist and Neapolitan advocate, with his Life, Naples, at the printing house of Giovanni Gravier, 1770 and 1777, Neapolitan first edition, complete work in two volumes bound in a single imposing volume in full contemporary parchment with spine ribs, a tassel(?) and gilt ornaments, enriched by a precious dry crest impressed in the center of the boards, interior preserved in generally good condition with typical foxing, slight browning of time and crinkling paper, a fundamental text for the history of law and Neapolitan Enlightenment thought that includes the famous Life of the author and unpublished works or rare juridical writings. 2 volumes in 8° gr., pp. 575 + 58 + 490.
