Julien De Graaf is an Italo-Dutch painter born in 1981, whose artistic research focuses on female portraiture and contemporary realism. His works are distinguished by the delicacy of skin tones, the balance of composition, and the use of soft and sophisticated hues. Through light-aware painting and the emotional nuances, De Graaf depicts female figures immersed in intimate and silent atmospheres, giving rise to elegant compositions, suspended between modern sensitivity and classical suggestion.
NB: The artwork will be shipped inside a sturdy, shipment-ready tube. The colors of the painting may differ slightly from the photos due to screen settings. In person, the artworks are more beautiful than in photography: one can appreciate the hypnotic beauty of the oil colors coming to life on the canvas.
