Cor Schaap (1968) - Zeegezicht

The fresh energy of this painting leaps from it. Captured with a loose and energetic brushwork in thick oil on a high-quality wooden panel. The work is framed in a wooden box frame in a floating presentation. A atmospheric painting that will appeal to anyone who loves space, the shore and the sea.

Cor Schaap paints both en plein air and from his seaside studio. His work is represented by, among others, Galerie Gabriëls in The Hague, for more than fifty years a renowned name in the Dutch art world.
