Iconic stage and film actor, Armand Meffre acted under the direction of major filmmakers, alongside Philippe Noiret, Jean Rochefort or Gérard Depardieu.
Trained in painting with master André Lhote, he developed a sensitive, luminous, and deeply human body of work.
His canvases, imbued with tenderness and poetry, reveal a profoundly human gaze, between restrained emotion and sincere simplicity.
