A renowned comedian of theater and cinema, Armand Meffre performed under the direction of major filmmakers alongside Philippe Noiret, Jean Rochefort, or Gérard Depardieu.
Trained in painting with master André Lhote, he developed a sensitive, luminous, and deeply human body of work.
His canvases, imbued with tenderness and poetry, reveal a profoundly humane gaze, between restrained emotion and sincere simplicity.
