Italian artist Giulio Giannotta who has been painting for about 30 years has participated in several of our group and solo exhibitions, both nationally and in Europe.

In these paintings the protagonist is anticipation, introspection.
The direct gaze and the contrast of vibrant colors on the skin against the calm background create a quiet tension. It is the anticipation of a moment, of an answer, imprinted on the face like a map of restrained feelings.

In this work the subject's piercing gaze dominates due to its intensity.

Oil painting on canvas 50 x 70 cm, mounted on a 2 cm frame. Signed on the back of the canvas and on the front by the artist.
