Ancient marine binoculars of observation and measurement type, military, probably from the early 20th century, around 1910-1920, the World War I period. They bear the marking « M G », presumably corresponding to the French Ministry of War. Optics, made of solid brass and leather. Intended for navigation, they show an authentic patina reflecting use in a marine environment. The glass lenses reflect careful craftsmanship. Signs of wear as in the photos.
