A special and attractive vertical lot of three vintages from Domaine Lamy-Caillat Chassagne-Montrachet: 2014, 2015 and 2016.
Domaine Lamy-Caillat is a very small micro estate in Chassagne-Montrachet run by Florence Lamy and Sébastien Caillat. The estate works exclusively with white Burgundy from Chardonnay and produces only limited quantities. The village Chassagne-Montrachet comes from the lieu-dit Pots Bois, a plot of land of only 2,345 m² that was planted in 1963. Average production is about 1,500 bottles per year.
The approach of Lamy-Caillat is traditional and minimalist: long élevage in cool cellars, hand bottling and no filtration. The winery describes its wines as fresh, sharp and suitable for long maturation.
