AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Pendant / silver brooch with a scarab and Egyptian-inspired motifs – 20.58 g

In the center is set a large oval blue-green scarab, with incised details on the surface. The scarab is enclosed within a complex architectural mounting, decorated with stylized human figures on the sides, geometric motifs, vegetal elements and details reminiscent of Egyptian art and symbolism.

Particularly interesting is the amount of workmanship in the mount: the side figures, the incised motifs and the frame-like structure make the piece very elaborate even when viewed up close. The rear shows the construction of the mounting and the clasp system of the brooch.

The large central blue-green element constitutes the focal point of the piece and features a decorated and not perfectly uniform surface, a characteristic that contributes to its tactile, material appearance.

A piece of notable size for a brooch, which can also be worn as a pendant thanks to its particular structure.

Material: Silver
Weight: 20.58 g
Dimensions: approximately 5 × 4 cm
Type: Pendant / Brooch
Central decoration: blue-green scarab
