Hand-signed limited-edition mixed-media print on canvas, 60 × 40 cm, titled La Liseuse du deuxième étage, created in 2023 in France and sold directly by the artist.
Description from the seller
The blue hour on a brownstone street. The facade fades gently, the trees cut silhouettes against a deep sky, a black sedan is parked along the curb. Only one window is lit: that of a woman reading, curled up in an armchair, under the amber glow of a lamp.
We walk down the street, we look up, and we’d like to know which book is pulling her in. That’s the magic of painting: turning a simple rectangle of light into a refuge, a secret, a story.
An intimate, quiet American nocturne, built on the dialogue between the night’s blue and the interior’s gold.
A work of silence and space, designed to calm an entire room.
