Description from the seller
Two interesting photographs by Uliano Lucas, a great reporter of the 70s, including a white border 30 x 24 cm, the inner photo 15 x 22 cm. Glossy print, vintage black-and-white in good condition, some slight signs of aging on the white border, no tears and perfectly square corners, prints for collectors. The author's stamp on the back and the agency stamp Grazia Neri.
"The New London on the Thames" and "The Museum of the Navy" are the titles of these photographs.
Uliano Lucas (Milan 1942), from a proletarian family, from a very young age began his training by frequenting the historic venues of Brera where he had the opportunity to mingle with artists, photographers and intellectuals and exchange experiences. Always oriented toward social themes, with his shots he masterfully described the Milanese popular and social fabric, student protests, the years of terrorism, the world of work and its transformations. He collaborated, as a freelance reporter, with the most important Italian publications. As a correspondent he followed and documented the process of decolonization in Africa, the complex reality of the Middle East, the dissolution of the former Yugoslavia and the life of emigrants in Europe.
