Description from the seller
Splendid three-flame candelabrum in Art Nouveau style, featuring a refined organic design with great decorative impact. The piece stands out for the richness of its naturalistic details: the central stem and the sinuous arms evoke graceful branches, while the three candle cups are deftly shaped like rose buds, resting on orders of finely veined leaves. The circular base, decorated with vegetal motifs and raised volutes coherent with the floral aesthetic, ensures excellent stability and bears on the bottom a protective cloth lining. From a structural point of view, the object is completely dismantlable; the internal base fastening system features components in plastic material, a technical detail highlighting its distinctive construction. Made in a heavy metal alloy (presumably pewter or darkened metal), the candelabrum boasts a splendid original and uniform dark patina that enhances its three-dimensionality and the details of the engravings. The inner buds are removable to facilitate wax cleaning; however, one of the three removable inner buds is missing. The candelabrum is otherwise in very good vintage condition, solid and structurally intact, with minimal and normal signs of aging that testify to its decorative charm. An attractive and elegant piece of furniture, ideal for enriching classic interiors or collections of floral-themed objects.
