Ottaviani - Manifattura italiana - Box - Allegory of Smoke and Tobacco - .925 silver, Rosewood - Cigar/cigarette holder

Splendid and elegant tabletop storage box of Italian manufacture, made by the prestigious maison Ottaviani.

The item stands out for the refined contrast between the structure in precious rosewood and the decorative plate on the lid, made in silver finely worked in relief and hammered, enriched with details in polychrome enamel (tones of cobalt blue, emerald green and yellow/gold).

The decoration features an artistic composition with a modern/abstract taste depicting elements of smoke with bottles and stylized shapes.
