A large, richly detailed bronze sculpture of Phra Sangkachai seated on a monumental dragon throne, dating to the second half of the 20th century, with a deep dark brown patina, 23 cm high and weighing 4.1 kg, originating from Thailand and sourced from an antique market, in good original condition.

Grand and richly detailed bronze statue of Phra Sangkachai (Monk of Wealth) on a monumental dragon crown – 2nd half of the 20th century.
• Representation: Phra Sangkachai (the Arhat of abundance and happiness) seated in a lotus position on an impressive throne carried by two detailed dragons. In his hands he holds two vases/jars as a symbol of attracting prosperity.
• Material: Bronze alloy with a splendid deep dark brown patina.
• Dating: 20th century (Southeast Asian art).
• Weight: 4100 grams (thick-walled, heavy casting quality).
• Condition: In very good, original condition with beautiful details in the casting and minimal signs of aging consistent with its age.
