We present to you this very beautiful gouache depicting a profile portrait of a red-haired woman from the French Symbolist School or English Pre-Raphaelite of the late 19th or early 20th century.

This female figure with a pale face is shown in profile, with abundant curly hair and a diadem adorned with a blue stone.

The decorative forms, refined colors and timeless atmosphere evoke the Symbolist aesthetic and the influence of Art Nouveau.

A mark “30” is visible in the lower part of the work.
