One 75cl bottle of Cantillon Lou Pepe Gueuze 2008 from Belgium, 6% ABV, Lou Pepe edition, aged 18 years.
Description from the seller
Up for auction is a remarkably rare and historic vintage bottle of Cantillon Lou Pepe Gueuze, vintage 2008. Crafted by the legendary Brasserie Cantillon in Brussels, this special cuvée is a pinnacle achievement in the world of wild and spontaneous fermentation. Unlike standard Gueuze, the Lou Pepe series is meticulously blended using only two-year-old lambics aged exclusively in select used wine casks, imparting a uniquely vinous, highly complex character before undergoing a secondary fermentation in the bottle.
Boasting 18 years of careful aging, this 2008 vintage is an exceptional collector's prize.
• Storage: Sourced from a private collection and impeccably cellared since purchase: kept in total darkness, at a constant cellar temperature and humidity control.
• Condition: Excellent fill level appropriate for its age. Original capsule is fully intact and securely sealed. Main label and 2008 vintage sticker are clean and in very good overall shape (please review the high-resolution images for full visual confirmation).
A true holy grail bottle for serious sour beer connoisseurs and international vintage collectors.
