Description from the seller
Up for auction is a magnificent and exceedingly rare bottle of Cantillon Lou Pepe Framboise, legendary 2009 vintage. Crafted by the world-famous Brasserie Cantillon in Brussels, this special cuvée is one of the absolute highlights of fruited lambic production. The Lou Pepe Framboise features an intense addition of 300 grams of fresh raspberries per liter, macerated in a blend of two-year-old lambics that have been aged entirely in select used Bordeaux wine barrels. Secondary carbonation is achieved in the bottle by adding a small amount of sweet liquor before corking.
Boasting 17 years of slow cellaring, this historic 2009 bottle is a highly sought-after grail for international vintage collectors.
• Storage: Sourced from a premium private collection and impeccably cellared since purchase: kept in total darkness, at a constant cool temperature, and ideal humidity levels.
• Condition: The original black capsule is clean, intact, and firmly sealed. Excellent fill level. The main label and the dedicated oval "Framboise 2009" vintage sticker are in superb, clean condition (please check high-resolution photos for confirmation).
An outstanding investment piece and a masterpiece of spontaneous fermentation for advanced collectors.
