Medsan presents Grendizer Facing Saturn (土星を望むグレンダイザー) – UNIQUE WORK, a 40 × 60 cm giclée on canvas, signed by hand, created in 2026, edition 1/1, France, in excellent condition and sold directly by the artist.
Description from the seller
THERE IS ONLY ONE IN THE WORLD - EDITION 1/1
In this vertical format, Medsan places Goldorak, the giant robot from Go Nagai (UFO Robot Grendizer, Toei), on the edge of a rocky ridge, facing Saturn. We see him from behind, standing on his legs, fists at his sides, the golden horns of his helmet rising toward the sky. His white, black and red silhouette is the only splash of vivid color in the landscape, and it seems tiny compared to what he contemplates.
For the planet fills the top of the frame: a huge globe striped with beige and blue bands, diagonally crossed by its rings, which exit the frame on both the left and the right. The night-blue sky is dotted with stars. In front of the robot lies a gray ground peppered with craters, up to a jagged line of mountains on the horizon. A cream border with cut corners frames the whole scene. The night blue, beige, gray and a few touches of red compose the palette. A solitary guardian at the end of the known world.
A unique and contemplative piece, ideal for bringing a sense of the wide open sea and nostalgia to a collector’s interior loyal to Goldorak.

On Catawiki, his pop works still appear under the name Medsan, but they belong to the Popsan universe.
