Description from the seller
THERE IS ONLY ONE IN THE WORLD - EDITION 1/1
On this square format, Medsan launches Sonic, Sega's blue hedgehog, at full speed toward the bottom left. Leaning forward, a stretched leg with the red sneaker and yellow buckle seems to shoot toward us, fist clenched, he half-smiles and fixes the road with his green eyes. Behind him, his silhouette repeats in ever-paler echoes, a trail of blue quills, white gloves, and red-soled shoes that tell the whole race.
A long line of golden rings follows his trajectory: it starts from the horizon, runs along a road that winds in a large curve, then dives down the image where the rings enlarge. Around him, utility poles tilt with their wires, traffic lights and a level crossing flicker at the edge of the track, low mountains close the horizon, and everything blends into broad red, turquoise, midnight blue, yellow, and cream diagonal bands. A moment of pure speed, captured in flight.
A piece full of energy, ideal for bringing a retro-gaming nostalgia touch to a collector's interior.

About Medsan / Popsan:
Medsan and Popsan are two signatures of a single artist. Under the name Medsan, he explores the world of medicine and anatomy; under the name Popsan, he revisits icons of popular culture by mixing pop art, Japanese art, and anachronisms. On Catawiki, his pop works still appear under the name Medsan, but they belong to the Popsan universe. He creates within the Atelier Joconde, a family artists’ workshop, alongside the artists Le Yack (figurative painting) and Neo Pablo (abstraction).
