In this square format, Medsan places Spike Spiegel, the bounty hunter from Cowboy Bebop, on a port quay in the middle of the afternoon. Leaning against a white railing spotted with rust, hands in pockets and ankles crossed, he wears his navy blue suit with rolled-up sleeves, a pale yellow shirt and a slim black tie; cigarette at the lips, tousled black hair, he turns his head toward the sea. Behind him, the water sparkles, a SUNRISE LINES container ship waits beneath the red and white cranes, and a city climbs up the hillside.
On the quay, near a rusted mooring bitt, the Swordfish II awaits, bright red, its long cannon aimed to the right, in front of hangar B-3. On the white facade, one reads A BRIGHTER TOMORROW ALWAYS SOMEWHERE; in the shadow of the open door, SEE YOU SPACE COWBOY. A row of palm trees cuts across the cobalt blue sky, and their shadows stretch over the light-colored concrete. A moment of pause, just before the next departure.

Under the name Medsan, he explores the realm of medicine and anatomy; under the name Popsan, he revisits icons of popular culture by blending pop art, Japanese art, and anachronisms. On Catawiki, his pop works still appear under the name Medsan, but they belong to the Popsan universe. He creates within Atelier Joconde, a family of artists’ workshop, alongside Le Yack (figurative painting) and Neo Pablo (abstract).
